Through the publication Women in Motion, ATI is participating in the Ministry of Culture's (O)voices of women in Czech culture series. The publication presents the life and professional story of six women who have made a significant contribution to the history of ballet, dance, mime, directing, choreography, pedagogy and journalism, and who are united by their exceptional work in the field of dance theatre. Božena Brodská, Zdenka Kratochvílová, Eva Kröschlová, Hana Machová, Jiřina Šlezingrová and Inka Vostřezová. The key to their selection was the ATI project Oral History of Czech Theatre, i.e. filmed reminiscences. The biographical chapters in the book are supplemented by reflections of experts in the field. The rich visual accompaniment comes mainly from the narrators' personal archives.
