Finance and Building Management Department is responsible for the financial operations of the ATI and the economic activities of the institution as a whole. It creates and manages the ATI’s budget and prepares reports on the financial management of the ATI for its founding institution (the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic). The department is responsible for the institute’s accounting, which includes preparing financial statements and closing procedures. The department manages the institute’s wage administration and related operations. It is also in charge of the administration of leasing the organisations non-residential space and maintaining records of its tangible and intangible property.

The department is also in charge of the administration and maintenance of the palace building and facilities and the organisation’s other real estate. It draws up, assigns, and monitors small-scale public contracts. It oversees investment and repair work in the organisation. It is in charge of work safety in the building and the enforcement and adherence of safety regulations. The department is also responsible for reception services, cleaning and upkeep of the organisation’s facilities, and operating the institute’s motor vehicle.
