In the play, the author (René Levínský by his own name) uniquely follows the best Czech traditions of gentle and absurd humour, as found in Bohumil Hrabal's prose, Václav Havel's plays and Miloš Forman's films. It focuses on the inhabitants of a remote East Bohemian train station. The text reflects on serious matters with an unobtrusive playfulness and humour, it is witty, amusing and has a strange bitter tone, springing from the perfect depiction of the banalities of everyday life.
