Milan Černý is a theatrologist, reviewer and publicist in the field of musical theatre. Since 2001 he has been working as a professional staff member of the library, in 2008 - 2023 he was also the library's acquisitions manager. He is the curator of the audio library fund and since 2023 also the archive fund manager of the Collections and Archive Department. He has been involved in projects focusing on acting, criticism and the history of musical theatre. He has completed artistic internships abroad and has taught professional courses for the general public and for students at art schools. He has collaborated with Czech Radio and Czech Television.
