Markéta Fantová graduated from Stage Design at DAMU in Prague and Theatre Design at Wayne State University in Detroit. After finishing her master’s degree studies until the present, she has been a university teacher and designer in the US at four universities. She has also realized many scenographic designs in the US and Europe. Her designs were included in the US National Exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial 2007 and World Stage Design in Seoul in 2009. Markéta was a curator of the American national exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial in 2015 and after her return to the Czech Republic in 2016 she has become the PQ artistic director.
