Czech Dance in Data

The series of publications entitled Czech Dance in Data is the result of research work in the field of Czech professional dance and related artistic disciplines, which are based primarily on the physical/movement work of the performer or creator.

The ambition of the researchers is to collect both hard data from the monitored artistic areas and the attitudes of artists and representatives of companies, groups or theatres towards key topics. In addition to ballet and contemporary dance, the research will for the first time map previously neglected and statistically almost unrecorded areas - mime theatre, new circus, dance in the entertainment industry or folk dance.

More information about the project can be found in the Czech version of the website.
